Slang Productions has partnered with this client, a well-known fortune 500 technology and manufacturing company, since 2007 to produce this anticipated ceremony each Spring. The evening includes a formal dinner, entertainment, and presentation of awards.
Dueling Pianists
In collaboration with key client contacts, Slang Productions put together a fun-filled evening hosted by a very talented emcee and two dueling piano performers.
As award winners arrived accompanied by their guests, pianos, and singing could be heard in the ballroom. Each attendee was presented with branded song request forms to add to the reception portion of the event’s overall entertainment.
Requests Kept Coming
While the audience mingled, the main stage was alive with two grand pianos elevated on individual circular risers. The backdrop of the stage reflected a “parlor-style” backdrop with dynamic lighting. At the pianos were two hilarious and talented pianist singers who bantered back and forth, adding commentary along the way. The audience loved it and kept the requests coming before they all sat down for the formal program to begin.
The Audience Loved it
The evening was guided by a professional emcee, who, near the end of the program, kicked off the entertainment segment with the dueling piano players by singing an original arrangement of popular songs accompanied by the pianists. The medley performed familiar, upbeat songs to parody lyrics that featured the award-winning products of that evening and celebrated corporate business units. The act crescendoed to moving lights and our emcee in the audience dancing with the winners as he sang. The audience loved it!
Shaking Things Up
The evening results were many positive comments from the audience about shaking things up and providing an interactive fun evening in celebration of their hard work and success they bring to the company.
