Entertainment Holiday Kickoff – In-Person Employee Meeting
Corporate Event + Celebrity Entertainment
Maroon 5, Train, The Offspring, Storm Troopers, Twisted Sister, Pyrotechnics and Martial Artists. These are just a few of the entertainment lineups we organized and managed for our national big box retailer client’s annual event.

Big Box Retailer
This big-box retailer held an annual event for 2000+ in-store “entertainment leads” nationwide. The purpose of this anticipated gathering was to present the latest technology in the entertainment space for holiday sales. The 4-day agenda included main stage presentations by top suppliers in the entertainment space, such as Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft, and EA, to name a few.
A Vendor Fair included over 200 booths, 50+ breakout sessions, and various evening receptions with special programming. The final evening included a concert featuring national entertainment, including Maroon 5, Train, The Offspring, and more.
Easy Accessibility
Slang Productions partnered with on-staff producers focused on the main stage presentations and breakouts. We designed theme graphics, scenic, and staging incorporating the latest audio visual and veteran crews at the helm.
We managed the production show flow, which was no easy task with all theatrics and back-to-back presentations juggling competing national vendors.
Event Highlights
The general session presentations were the highlight of the event. Dee Snider from Twisted Sister surprised the audience in full make-up to kick off an interactive karaoke game. Storm Troopers and Navy Seals infiltrated the ballroom. Extreme martial artists dressed in orange jumpsuits simulated a prison break. Other general session highlights included splash drummers, pyrotechnics, live music, and so much more!
Successful Holiday Season
Roaming cameras captured the entire event. We used this footage to wrap up the final day with a high-energy “highlight” video. Attendees used this video back at their respective stores to generate excitement throughout the country for innovative new products. This event was key to a successful holiday season.
